Dear MEPIN Members,
Early this morning on GB News in Britain, I discussed the misconceptions, challenges, and what I believe is the excessive optimism surrounding the signing of this agreement. Contrary to the Vice President’s characterization, this is not a peace deal that resolves the Middle East’s fundamental problems. Rather, it is an interim or preliminary agreement with a revolutionary Islamist regime that has practiced taqiyya, religiously sanctioned deception, dfor 47 years.
From an American national security perspective, cautious optimism is the most appropriate response. For Israelis, however, who were effectively compelled to accept participation in this agreement, the moment is one of significant concern and uncertainty.
The central questions remain:
Who will verify Iranian compliance? And will President Trump have the resolve to enforce the agreement when, not if, Iran attempts to cheat?
I invite you to watch my interview and share your thoughts.
