On the Israeli-Lebanese Border in Margaliot in the Upper Galilee

I recently returned from Israel, meeting with frontline soldiers and elite units, visiting the wounded, and meeting with the Speaker of the Knesset, Minister of Intelligence, Ambassador Danny Danon, former Defense Minister Bogie Yaalon, former IDF Director of Research Intel. for the IDF Gen (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser, journalists Seth Frantzman and Jonathan Spyer, Dan Diker, the head of JCPA, the amazing Alma think tank team of Sarit Zehavi on the northern border, the leadership of the abandoned towns and kibbutzim in the northern Galilee, visiting Kfar Aza, one of the Kibbutzim massacred by Hamas, and watched the 48 minutes of raw footage of the atrocities committed by Hamas, and much more.
Having been in Sderot witnessing the massacre on Oct 7th, returning to America to speak to foreign policy experts in Congress and many universities, then returning to Israel two months into its war has given me a unique perspective on what has happened and humbled me by witnessing the sacrifices Israelis are making to stay alive and keep their homeland.
Over the next few weeks, I will be writing about my experiences to highlight what is not being reported in the media. The first two will be about the Forgotten Wounded of Israel and Hamas’ radical Islamism.
