In the morning, I visited Israel’s frontline tertiary care hospital closest to Gaza with the director of the Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Moti Klein, and the Chief of Ophthalmology, Dr. Erez Tsumi (photo below). I will be writing an article about this experience. Still, I want to remind everyone not to forget the two thousand soldiers injured every month, many with lifelong disabilities and needing psychological care for years to come.
