Dear MEPIN Readers,
On this American Veterans Day, I want to honor my dad, Harold Mandel, who served and was injured in World War II. While stationed in occupied Japan, he also helped start the Boy Scouts.
My dad was very proud to be an American, to serve in the army, and was a wonderful human being.
