All I can say is wow.
Whatever your politics, this was a moment to pause and appreciate the magnitude of what just happened in the U.S.–Israel relationship. Americans often speak of our nation’s shared values—but today’s speech left no doubt that this bond is built on mutual respect and enduring friendship. Can anyone recall another U.S. president declaring so unequivocally, “I love Israel”—and affirming that it will always remain a vital ally?
